AxxonSoft demonstrated Intellect Enterprise PSIM platform at its technology partner, Axis's booth

There is a growing understanding that one of the keys to profitability in retail is a potent security system. This is true for mom-and-pop stores and vital for supermarkets and large shopping malls. For this very reason presentations of new security technologies in anti-shoplifting, digital video and point-of-sale systems make up an integral part of every trade fair for retailers. The Shopping Center Forum this year attracted a huge number of retailers and developers of shopping centres to Warsaw on September 18 - 19.

AxxonSoft solutions for retail were showcased at the booth of its long-standing technology partner - Axis Communications, one of the world market leaders for IP cameras.

The pairing of Axis cameras and AxxonSoft software is one used for several years now. Their custom solution for retail, Axis & AxxonSoft Retail Solution, was designed in 2012. Since then, both companies have booked numerous successful deployments at diverse sites around the world.

At this event, AxxonSoft demonstrated its flagship product, Axxon Intellect Enterprise PSIM platform, and POS-Intellect, a bestselling solution for video surveillance at point-of-sale terminals.

"POS intellect with its seamless integration with Axis cameras has a lot to offer to system integrators and shop owners"

The forum offered a perfect setting and receptive atmosphere for networking and meeting prospects and end-users. All visitors to the booth, were impressed by the feature set of Axxon's products. Axxon Intellect PSIM platform was the focal point of the exhibition with its flexible event-driven response scenarios and multiple third-party integrations.

Worthy of particular mention is that the state-of-the-art quality of Axis cameras and seamless integration with AxxonSoft software make it possible to not only cut losses and prevent theft but also monitor consumer behaviour.

Building up on the success at the trade fair, AxxonSoft and Axis agreed on bolstering their marketing activities in the Eastern Europe. Last but not least, in the aftermath of the event, AxxonSoft will be opening a branch office in Poland.

"Recent research shows a 70% surge in investment into shop floor in the Central and Eastern Europe in the first 6 months of 2013. Poland alone can boast 1 million square meters of retail floor area currently under construction. Being heavily involved in retail security, Axis Communications didn't have to think twice on exhibiting at Shopping Center Forum. We are very pleased to showcase AxxonSoft solutions at our booth. POS intellect with its seamless integration with Axis cameras has a lot to offer to system integrators and shop owners. They can prevent losses and cut inventory shrinkage. More than that, with this solution you get a merchandising and marketing tool that helps run the shop more effectively", noted Alexey Mayorov, Business Development Manager, Retail Segment. Russia, CIS & Eastern Europe.
