Mobile surveillance seminar on 18 February
Attendees will gain a better understanding of current and future developments within the field of mobile surveillance

Plustek Technology Inc., a provider of surveillance and imaging solutions, will host its third half-day seminar discussing network security and surveillance with network video specialists Axis Communications and others on Thursday 18th February at Birmingham University (9am - 1pm).

Improvements in technologies for recording and transmission have opened up several revenue opportunities for mobile video surveillance devices, especially in the transit bus, police vehicles and rail markets across the world. These technology developments have extended the scope of mobile video surveillance to include monitoring and training drivers to improve performance.

Mobile video surveillance's growing popularity in security and non-security applications presents new opportunities for solution providers. The need for security in public transport systems will offer additional impetus for the uptake of mobile video surveillance technology.
