German Distributor Videor again received the Axis Security Distributor of the Year Award in the whole of EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) this year for its extremely good cooperation. Lars Paulsson (Axis Regional Director EMEA & South America) and Bodil Sonesson (Vice President Sales) from Axis presented Uwe Höppner (Security Product Manager at Videor) with the award at the Distributor Conference 2008 in Forte Village, Sardinia. 127 Axis customers from over 30 countries attended the conference. On the agenda: the new H.264 compression standard presented by Axis under the motto 'Welcome to a new world of video surveillance'.
