TeleEye GX680 Series is a range of 4-, 9- and 16-channel HD digital video recorders, which are specifically designed for professional video surveillance applications. Now TeleEye are pleased to announce that the functionalities of the GX680 HD DVRs are extended to work with Axis cameras. It is indeed a crucial development in the video surveillance industry because the GX680 HD DVRs are the ideal solution to a number of important requirements that have not been addressed by other NVRs in the marketplace.

Hacker resistance

There have been multiple incidents reported in the news, indicating IP cameras being easily exposed to security threats. In order to address the security issues, the GX680 HD DVRs are incorporated with our own Hacker Resistant Technology. With the 5-layer protection, hackers are denied unauthorised access to your video network and data stream, safeguarding confidential information, which is crucial for serious security users such as those in the banking, corporate and government sectors.

Optimise transmission performance

The designs of many NVRs in the marketplace are rather primitive. They operate on a fixed video profile, determined by the initial instruction settings. Then the video streaming resolution does not adapt to the user requirements. This is a problem when the operator wants to zoom in for a closer look because footages and images will be unclear leading to a prolonged identification process and delay preventive actions or provide invalid evidence due to unclear images. This shortfall will be of inconvenience to e.g. casinos and traffic monitoring.

On the contrary the GX680 HD DVRs take a much more intelligent approach in the design. The resolutions of the streaming videos according to the display requirements are adjusted automatically. Hence both crystal clear video quality on single screen display and seamless refreshing for displaying multiple cameras can be assured.

BS8418 compliance

The GX680 HD DVRs adhere to the stringent requirements of the BS8418, a professional and credible British CCTV standard. These GX680 HD DVRs are the best solutions for satisfying centralised video management, alarm monitoring and remote response requirements.

The GX680 HD DVRs provide additional features such as: arm & disarm control, alarm inputs with tamper detection, power interruption & failure detection, system detection and retains event and activity logs for a minimum of 6 months. These attributes puts the GX680 HD DVRs above the rest because false alarms are reduced which inevitably saves costs for users, making the GX680 HD DVRs a more secure, trustworthy and reliable solution for streaming and recording.

Versatile & extensive video management software

TeleEye provides many comprehensive and scalable solutions to meet different users’ requirements.

  • sureSIGHT: Highly scalable design, suitable for live monitoring of multiple cameras simultaneously
  • sureGUARD: Event driven video management platform, specifically designed for visual alarm verification applications
  • iView: Mobile apps designed for checking your distant premises on portable devices

“As a pioneer in video surveillance technologies, TeleEye tends to have an open mind towards product development. We have been working closely with Axis Communications and have joined the ADP program, obtaining first-hand information and support on the Axis camera development. Hence we can extend our GX680 HD DVRs to work seamlessly with Axis network camera. In fact we give Axis users a very unique alternative in choosing their recording and video management solutions,” stated by Dr. Wallace Ma, Executive Director of TeleEye Group.
