TSS (Traffic Safety Systems) - part of AD Group - has appointed Julian Cooke as International Sales Manager.  The company believes this appointment will further strengthen TSS' position as a world leader in the supply and fitment of customised CCTV systems to police, emergency services and municipal authorities for community safety, security and surveillance, driver training and roads policing.

Julian will be bringing more than 26 years of technical sales know-how to his new position at TSS, of which 19 years has involved dealing with markets outside the UK, focusing particularly on the Middle East as well as Europe, Africa, India, Asia and Australia.

He also has extensive experience researching new markets, building productive distributor networks worldwide and working with police and government departments on highway infrastructure, traffic management and safety products.

"Undoubtedly there are tremendous opportunities in emerging markets and recent member counties of the European Union - such as Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary - for TSS systems to be applied to address real issues on the ground including roads policing, crowd control and anti-social behaviour," Julian said.

"I know that TSS is already talking to a number of overseas police forces who are keen to move from analogue to our PatrolVu digital technology and, following successful trials, we anticipate announcing significant new orders in the very near future."

Alan Mole, Managing Director at TSS, comments:  "We are delighted to have someone of Julian's calibre join our team.  I believe that Julian's knowledge, coupled with the technological support we now receive from AD Group, will prove invaluable as we look to grow the business and expand our global distributor base."
