Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced it was voted Best Intruder Manufacturer at the PSI Premier Awards, which took place on 5th June at Moor Park Golf Club in Hertfordshire.

Exclusively selected by security installers, the prestigious annual awards event and its honorees garner industry respect.  Honeywell was awarded the Intruder Manufacturer of the Year award based on the superior level of customer care and impressive sales performance achieved in the sector throughout the past year.

"We are delighted to have won the award for Intruder Manufacturer of the Year.  To be recognised by the industry is extremely important to us," commented Tony Makosinski, UK Marketing Leader for Honeywell Security and Custom Electronics. "The close relationship we have with installers and the strong support we provide makes a huge difference and it shows they value this level of attention, as they have voted for us again."

Established 11 years ago, the PSI Premier Awards have recently been brought together into one single event to further highlight the quality of the security industry.  Leading security magazine Professional Security Installer (PSI) runs a six-month campaign each year, encouraging installers to nominate products or manufacturers whom they see as worthy of this accolade.  Honeywell Security and Custom Electronics received the highest number of votes in the intruder manufacturer category.
