FAP provides provides customised support in sales techniques and marketing strategies for intrusion, fire, CCTV and access control systems
The FAP program is the country’s largest independent security dealer network

Honeywell recently welcomed Armed Response Team (ART), an Albuquerque, N.M.-based security provider originally founded by a group of police officers, to its First Alert Professional (FAP) Dealer Program. The FAP program is the country’s largest independent security dealer network.

For nearly a decade, ART has specialised in residential and commercial burglar, perimeter and fire alarms, access control solutions, and CCTV surveillance systems. The company is one of the country’s most unique because it provides in-person response to burglar alarms using a team of former sworn, highly experienced police officers who maintain state certification.

“Our business’ philosophy is to provide the best service to our customers, especially in an area where we’ve seen growth in alarm system use, demand for police resources, and high false alarm rates,” said David Meurer, president of Armed Response Team. “Becoming a First Alert Professional Dealer will allow us to tap into Honeywell’s expertise, technological innovations and support, which helps strengthen our services to our customers.”

The First Alert Professional Dealer Program is one of the United States’ most exclusive and prestigious security dealer programs. It provides customised support in sales techniques and marketing strategies for intrusion, fire, CCTV and access control systems in commercial and residential facilities. The reputable First Alert Professional product line is available only through the network. It is the largest independent security dealer network in North America with more than 500 participating security contractors.
