Honeywell recently announced the introduction of commercial-grade fire control panels with features from the company’s VISTA Turbo line to provide additional functionality and save security dealers money and installation time. These robust solutions have been designed to more easily integrate with access control and leading third-party systems, provide additional smart sensor functionality and more.

The new VISTA Turbo Fire models—the VISTA-32FBPT, VISTA-128FBPT and VISTA-250FBPT—contain support for up to six graphic touch screen keypads and Honeywell Total Connect™ Remote Services, which provides event notification to onsite security staff in addition to the central station. An on-board serial port and increased serial communication speed improves integration and eliminates the need for a separate module to communicate with access control systems such as Honeywell WIN-PAK and Pro-Watch access control products. They also support Crestron®, Lutron®, AMX® and Control4®building automation systems.

These systems support a “PIR masked” trouble display for smart V-Plexmotion sensors (Honeywell’s DT7500SN), helping to guard against tampering.

The panels also support uploading and downloading over GSM and IP Communicators (new for VISTA-32FB security panel) and additional protection for entering the programming mode.
