Honeywell will demonstrate the Galaxy Flex intruder and door control system and the MAXPRO Cloud solution at IFSEC 2012
The MAXPRO Cloud solution is a hosted service that gives organisations access to their video surveillance anywhere

Honeywell announced the latest updates to its MAXPRO and Galaxy Flex security solutions as well as third party solutions to be demonstrated at the IFSEC 2012 International security trade show taking place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, UK, from 14th to 17th May 2012 - Stand E80 in Hall 4. Visitors to the stand will be able to see first-hand products and solutions from Honeywell and third party companies, and the opportunities and benefits that they can bring to their business.

Honeywell will demonstrate two new security solutions - the latest version of its Galaxy Flex intruder and door control system for small commercial and residential security systems and the MAXPRO Cloud solution. Galaxy Flex now incorporates even greater flexibility and functionality for installers and users alike while offering a solution that is fully compliant with the new PD6662:2010 and BS8243 standards offering a straight-forward yet high security solution. New multi-path communications options provide even greater reliability by ensuring a monitored path is always maintained. As a result, installers benefit from configuration options that continue to deliver cost savings and ease of installation.

The MAXPRO Cloud solution is a hosted service that gives organisations access to their video surveillance wherever there is an internet connection. The Honeywell MAXPRO Cloud solution was named Best Commercial and Monitoring Solution by the Security Industry Association (SIA) on the opening day of ISC West.

Amongst the third party solutions showcased on the Honeywell stand is Facewatch who will demonstrate an integrated cloud based crime reporting software package for retail and licensed trade businesses. The new system provides remote monitoring of a business’s CCTV assets with crime reporting directly to the police via a single interface. This will improve safety and security for retail and licensed trade customers and employees whilst providing a strong deterrent to criminals. “The Facewatch system is a catalyst for businesses and police to join together; a great example of citizens and communities getting involved alongside the police,” according to Sir Hugh Orde, President of the Association of Chief Police Officers.

SureView Systems will demonstrate Immix Enterprise and Immix Cloud video centric alarm monitoring platforms, and their integration with Honeywell solutions for commercial central stations and those requiring a PSIM solution.

Demonstrating its 3D situation awareness, Initsys will also present its integration of the complete range of Honeywell products.

Representing Honeywell fire safety solutions, Morley-IAS will exhibit the DX Connexion, its latest fire alarm panel which allows basic setup in five simple steps. They will also demonstrate their new aspirating products Hi-Spec ASD and Compact ASD.  A global leader in fire and security evacuation devices, KAC Alarm Company will present a range of products for access control, including call points and audible visible devices.

Honeywell Gas Detection, comprising Honeywell Analytics and BW Technologies by Honeywell, will exhibit a range of fixed and portable gas detection equipment designed to deliver high performance detection of flammable, toxic and oxygen gas hazards with maximised uptime and reduced ongoing costs.
