Honeywell appoints new dealer for commercial security systems
Honeywell's programme is designed for dealers with expertise in intrusion, video surveillance and access control
Honeywell has selected Knight Security Systems, Inc. as a Honeywell Authorised Dealer for Commercial Security Systems (CSS). The programme will provide design, installation and support services for the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based integrator, which specialises in the service and maintenance of security, fire, video, access control and other low-voltage systems for both residential and commercial customers.

Founded more than 30 years ago by a former Pennsylvania state police trooper, Knight Security is a mid-sized, family owned and operated business that focuses on security but provides additional services such as medical alert systems, home automation systems and structured wiring.

"For 31 years, we have prided ourselves on providing our customers with low-voltage systems and installations without relying on subcontractors," said Keith E. Maley, Knight Security President. "Aligning with Honeywell will give us the additional tools we need to maintain the integrity of our business and enhance the scope of services for our customers."

Honeywell's Authorised Dealer Programme for Commercial Security Systems supports small, medium and large commercial and industrial security dealers by offering customised marketing support, targeted sales opportunities and technical training programmes. The programme is designed for dealers with expertise in intrusion and fire, video surveillance and access control.

"Knight Security's decades of service to the central Pennsylvania region has helped to foster valuable customer relationships," said Dave Kaufman, Honeywell's director of dealer programmes. "The company's trusted service, combined with far-reaching security capabilities makes it a welcome addition to the Honeywell CSS Dealer Programme."
