artec technologies, located in Diepholz, Germany, continues its course of expansion by further extending the marketing of its products.  For this, the company has been able to win over Paul André de Jong as its new Vice-President of Sales & Marketing.  Beginning on 01.10.2006, he will assume responsibility for all of artec's distribution and marketing activities.  For video branch insiders, De Jong is no stranger.  Most recently he was the sole managing director of a well-known company in the area of video surveillance technology with a turnover reaching two-digit million figures.

Paul André de Jong, born in 1966 in the Netherlands, studied Marketing and Distribution and is the natural-born salesman.  As the new Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, he will assume the responsibility for all distribution and marketing activities at artec technologies.  Starting in 1988, he worked as the export manager for a German pipe and tube manufacturer with its main emphasis on the automobile industry.  After 1993, he became active as the marketing manager of a supply company in the area of metal construction and was decisively involved in the development of that company.  In 1999, he changed over to the video branch.  As the sole managing director, he set up the European headquarters for one of the largest Taiwanese manufacturers in the area of the video surveillance technology.  His hobbies include skiing and sailing.
