Chloé Nelkin, Chair of East Wing VIII, praised the work of the First Security team at art show event |
First Security recently received high praise for its work in protecting contemporary works of art at a fashionable London art exhibition. The company sponsored The Courtauld Institute of Art's East Wing Collection VIII by providing officers for its private viewing to celebrate the collection's anniversary at Somerset House.
This East Wing Collection, called ‘On Time', is a contemporary art show featuring the work of up-and-coming artists alongside that of well-known established names. ‘On Time' first opened in 2008 but has recently celebrated a year's residency at Somerset House, for which a private viewing event was held to celebrate and highlight the importance of performance art and installation.
Chloé Nelkin, Chair of East Wing VIII, praised the work of the First Security team: "The sponsorship in kind from First Security was instrumental in the success of the event," she said, "ensuring the safety of the people and the security of the art on show and we are very grateful to the officers who gave their time to make the event so successful."
First Security has been working with The Courtauld Institute of Art and Somerset House for a number of years, as Mike Crump, Managing Director of First Security explains: "We are proud of the work we do and welcome opportunities to support the communities we seek to serve. We look forward to continuing this relationship and the valued support that we offer."
‘On Time' is also sponsored by Somerfield Ltd, Cadogan Tate Fine Art and Kent Services and is in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support.
