The training will provide information on why smart cards are becoming the card technology of choice
Ingersoll Rand will host on Sep 11 at the Pennsylvania Convention Centre

Building on its successful on-the-road training events held in more than 20 cities across the U.S., Ingersoll Rand will bring its smart technologies training session to ASIS, beginning Sept. 11 at 8:00 a.m. in Room # 120B at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (PCC). The two hour Electronic Access Control Learning Event consists of comprehensive technology and product training, including a kick-off from Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies President John Conover. Security professionals will learn about reader, card and general electronic access control technologies and terminologies.

“Many of our customers, who were not near one of our road-trip events, asked if we could hold one of these sessions at ASIS,” explains Jeremy Earles, product marketing manager for readers and credentials at Ingersoll Rand. “Attendees will receive comprehensive training on new technologies including information on how to best plan effectively for the future with the evolving technologies. Our training intends to help make sure that both end-users and integrators are making smart and informed decisions when planning their security.”

Besides reviewing the pros and cons of various types of technologies, the training will provide information on why smart cards are becoming the card technology of choice.
