Leading global provider of security and safety solutions Ingersoll Rand has extended its range of panic exit hardware accessories with the introduction of the Briton 9260 Outside Access Device (OAD) with mechanical digital code lock, the first of its kind within the Briton series.
The Briton 9260 OAD provides a means of accessing doors from the outside and has been designed specifically for areas which require restricted but convenient access such as offices, workshops and storerooms. The mechanical digital code lock can be used in conjunction with the Briton 376, 560 or 570 series Panic Hardware.
The aesthetically pleasing digital code lock has over 8,000 non-sequential code options and allows a single PIN code to be set so that all users can gain access using the same code. The access lock is suitable for both single and double doors between 40mm and 70mm thick and the lever variant has an innovative shear pin designed to fail if the lever is severely abused, ensuring the mechanism is protected from damage.
Stuart Costigan, Technical Product Manager for Ingersoll Rand, said: “At Ingersoll Rand, we pride ourselves on listening to our customers and strive to offer superior products which meet their needs and exceed expectations every time.
