Cablecom Networks Co., Ltd, a system integrator in Thailand, successfully implemented 14 units of ACTi CAM-6110, MPEG-4 IP high speed dome camera in Chiang-Mai tunnel.

Cablecom chose ACTi's IP speed domes, because of the superior video quality and high zooming power.  To monitor traffic situation in the tunnel, good video quality, high zooming together with day night function are the necessary requirements.  In remote control centre, ACTi's Streaming Activator offers 16-Channel real time preview, recording and playback functions.

Through ACTi Streaming Activator software, the guard in the control centre can remotely control PTZ function of speed dome cameras.  If there is any accident occurred in the tunnel, it is easy to monitor all situations through ACTi IP surveillance system.

"We are impressed with the video quality of ACTi IP speed dome. Also the free-bundled 16-channel software is a benefit for us.  We have confidence to deploy more projects with ACTi IP Surveillance Solution," says Mr. Wirat Poothanachai, General Manager, Cablecom Networks Co., Ltd.
