ACTi’s latest Zoom Bullet, B41, is brilliantly designed for installation in various applications such as building entrances, loading docks, warehouses, production lines, or parking lots. For one example, it can be installed in a warehouse to monitor employees’ working conditions, compliance, or product movements during both day and night. With its 5-Megapixel resolution, one can capture video evidence clearly without losing picture details when zooming in, ensuring the highest quality evidence.

Another key benefit of this camera is that it comes with 12x Zoom lens and auto focus. So it gives the flexibility to monitor the scene in wider view; or perhaps to zoom in to see a suspicious item or check if products are shelved correctly in a warehouse that is 150 meters away. ACTi Focus Technology allows the lens to zoom and focus faster and more accurately than would be possible with a manual/remote focus system.

Moreover, the video evidence during night time can be enhanced tremendously with the help of ACTi’s latest technology - Adaptive IR. Previously, the user may have faced a challenge at night with either the IR LED beam being too weak or too strong. Too weak, and the camera cannot capture or identify any object at night. Too strong, and the object in question may be washed out in the video due to overexposure. For example, a traditional IR LED camera may capture an outline of a person 10 meters away but when that person moves closer to the camera, instead of capturing a clear view of a face, you will see a shape too bright to identify. To counter this, B41’s Object Adaptive IR will adjust the IR LED following the focused object. So when the target object moves closer, it will automatically adjust the suitable IR illumination with the object’s distance to ensure evidence capture. Since one cannot predict the position of moving objects, this is the intelligent IR solution!

And when B41 zooms in, its Zoom Adaptive IR will automatically adjust the IR light to focus on the area that it zooms into. This way, the IR beam will be concentrated in one area to narrow down the beam angle and extend the range to cover the zoom-in area. When zooming out, the adaptive IR LED technology will readjust the illumination back to cover the wider area, making sure that there is enough IR illumination in either near or far view.
