IQinVision’s new camera models feature WDR functionality, enabling them to produce clear and crisp images

IQinVision, market leader in high-performance HD megapixel IP cameras, recently announced the introduction of several new IQeye camera models featuring Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) functionality. IP megapixel camera users are frequently faced with poor video quality resulting from difficult lighting conditions. This can take the form of either blown-out (over-exposed) or overly dark video which occurs during certain times of the day caused by, for example, windows or doors being opened and closed or vehicle headlights flashing through a scene. These problematic lighting conditions occur when extreme variations in light levels (bright and dark) occur in the same scene simultaneously.

IQinVision’s new camera models feature WDR functionality, enabling them to produce clear, crisp images, even in the most challenging lighting conditions. This enhancement will be available in the company’s Alliance-pro, Sentinel, and 7 Series camera lines and is offered in 720p, 1080p, and 3.1MP resolutions, thus catering to the majority of market applications. These new models will augment the current line of products and are fully compatible with all major video management systems on the market today.

The complete IQeye range of cameras and technology will be on display at ISC West in Las Vegas, NV, 10-12 April, at booth #3087.
