IP video improves security and overall operations for Balkan’s largest Toyota dealer
NUUO network video management system and megapixel cameras from IQinVision deployed by Toyota dealer
IQinVision, market leader in high-performance HD megapixel network cameras, smart IP cameras, and network video recording systems, recently announced that the largest Toyota dealer on the entire Balkan peninsula has deployed a NUUO network video management system and megapixel cameras from IQinVision. The integrator in charge of system design and installation is Maxtel Ltd.

Upwards to 50 IQeye cameras, ranging in resolution from VGA up to 3-megapixel, monitor the main showroom, a large parking lot of used cars, and the service areas-a complex of 11,000 square meters in all. The NUUO management system provides high-quality video, with recording during business hours and recording on motion after hours. In addition to motion detection, the NUUO system also features foreign object detection video analytics for more effectively monitoring critical surveillance zones.

The Toyota dealer's management uses surveillance video for overall security, to protect against theft, and to improve management practices. The dealership has a very large parking lot for used car storage and sales, and areas for servicing of vehicles. The video surveillance system monitors the service areas, in addition to the parking lot, in order to check the progress and location of service technicians, what cars are being worked on, and which cars have completed servicing.

Live and recorded video is available only to the Security Manager and the business owner, and both the Security Manager and owner utilise the NUUO system's remote live viewing function to check operations when they are not on-site. Video is stored for 20 days to ensure there is time for any potential incidents to be identified and properly investigated. The dealership has deployed the IQeye 3-megapixel cameras for perimeter protection and for parking lot and building entrances. VGA and 1.3-megapixel IQeye cameras are used to monitor the service areas. To date, the end user has been very satisfied with image quality, system stability, and overall ease-of-use.
