ioimage, the pioneer of intelligent video appliances designed for simplicity in installation and operation, has been selected by independent market analysis company, Frost & Sullivan, as the recipient of the 2006 Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Growth Strategy Leadership.

This prestigious award is given to a company that demonstrates leadership and technological innovation while establishing new venues and forging strategic partnerships and joint ventures for penetration into new markets.  Additional award criteria are the company's ability to address unmet demand for video analytics with easy to deploy solutions and the demonstration of leadership in educating the market on the need for the technology.

"ioimage first excelled with a high-performance solution in a growing market niche and then leveraged their technological position to diversify embedded intelligent video solutions to a wider market," says Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Dilip Sarangan.

"Bringing about greater market acceptance of video analytics and developing a flexible intelligent video solution that appealed to the masses, ioimage's strategies won them market share and growing presence in the physical security marketplace."

Frost & Sullivan, a global growth consulting company, has been partnering with clients to support the development of innovative strategies for more than 40 years.  The company's industry expertise integrates growth consulting, growth partnership services, and corporate management training to identify and develop opportunities.

For the award, Frost & Sullivan researches each company's market revenues and focuses on eligible companies that show high growth rates and meet selection criteria.  From these outstanding companies, Frost & Sullivan selects the company that has bolstered its position and demonstrated an outstanding strategy that has a lasting market impact.

For 2006, Frost & Sullivan selected ioimage as the winner of the 2006 Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Growth Strategy Leadership from the eligible candidates.

"An Award from an established voice in the worldwide marketplace, such as Frost & Sullivan, is a celebrated honour for years of hard work by the ioimage team," said Roni Kass, ioimage CEO and founder.
