ioimage to deliver best practices presentation at second annual IMS Video Content Analysis Conferenceioimage, the pioneer of intelligent video appliances designed for simplicity, announced recently that for the second year running it is presenting at the Video Content Analysis Conference organised by IMS Conferences.  Recognised as the only conference dedicated to the topic of video analytics, the conference will explore the use of video analytics in both security and business intelligence applications.

Taking place in Orlando on April 23-24 at the Hilton Walt Disney World Resort, the conference will bring together senior executives, technical managers and marketing personnel from leading VCA-related companies to meet with end-users, integrators and other industry players to examine the market potential, technical barriers and new opportunities that video content analysis brings.

John Whiteman, Vice President and General Manager of ioimage North America will be presenting at the conference together with more than 35 expert speakers.

During the conference's inaugural year, ioimage was named the market leader in intelligent video surveillance devices by IMS Research.  This year Whiteman will step forth on behalf of ioimage, sharing his insights and experience gained from more than 20 years in the security industry.  His presentation is titled "Best Practices in Deploying Video Analytics in Transportation and Related Applications" and will cover topics such as selecting the right video analytic solution architecture, dos and don'ts for transportation installations, and lessons learned in video analytics.

Whiteman's expertise covers the commercial, transportation, government, and homeland security markets, where he established numerous business relationships working with Fortune 500 companies, including airports, large defence contractors and U.S. Customs agencies.

"Video analytics is now playing a significant role in the security industry, providing systems integrators and dealers with new opportunities and the market as a whole, with access to better, more reliable security solutions," said Whiteman.  "In my presentation, I will cover best practices specific to the transportation market and will also address lessons learned and what to look for in your next video analytics installation for the industrial, commercial and public markets."
