Samsung Techwin mobile apps are available for iPhone and Android devices with DDNS compatibility |
Samsung Techwin is featuring their newest mobile apps designed for the Samsung Security Manager (SSM) and the company’s leading line of Samsung iPOLiS network cameras and NVRs at ASIS 2013 (booth #: 853). Both mobile apps are available for iPhone and Android devices with DDNS (Dynamic Domain Naming Service) compatibility for installation in less than a minute over wireless or 3G networks.
“Samsung’s anytime/anywhere viewing technology enables users to access both live and recorded video while they are on the move,” said Frank De Fina, Samsung's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, North America. “The enhanced functionality of our new mobile apps greatly increases situational awareness for first responders.”
The SSM mobile app enables quick and easy access locally or remotely to the Samsung Security Manager platform. Users can view live streaming video complete with P/T/Z control and can search for and edit video material. Other features include calendar (date/time) search, playback and bookmark functions. Images can be saved to the device’s file folder and audio (if available) and network status is also available.
New features included in version 2.3 of the iPOLis app include auto-detection for adding new devices and “event” search to make access to recorded video easier and faster. Touchscreen support for setting the time on the search page is also enabled. With iPOLis mobile, users can monitor Samsung cameras and NVRs from wherever an Internet connection is available, through a mobile provider.
