Samsung Techwin’s three new 700 TVL cameras feature SSNRIII digital noise reduction, 128x wide dynamic range and SSDR contrast enhancement to ensure premium resolution image capture
The New cameras include the SCB-3003 box camera, SCD-3083 varifocal dome camera, and SCV-3083 vandal-resistant dome camera

Samsung Techwin recently debuted three new high performance analogue video surveillance cameras that deliver 700 TV Lines (TVL) of resolution, wide dynamic range, true day/night (ICR) operation, coax control and intelligent video at ASIS 2013 (booth #: 853). The three new cameras include the SCB-3003 box camera, the SCD-3083 varifocal dome camera, and the SCV-3083 vandal-resistant dome camera. The new 700 TVL cameras present an ideal means of upgrading the performance of new and existing systems with analogue coax infrastructure.

“Although IP technology deserves its massive media attention, the reality is a great deal of analogue infrastructure still exists. Samsung recognises that the analogue customer is still important and that analogue maintains significant advantages in many situations,” said Frank De Fina, Samsung's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, North America. The three new 700 TVL cameras feature SSNRIII digital noise reduction, 128x wide dynamic range and SSDR contrast enhancement to ensure premium resolution image capture. Additional value-added performance features include digital zoom, motion detection, privacy masking and image stabilisation. All three cameras can be powered over coax (Pelco-C Coaxitron) or 12V DC/24V AC power. The SCB-3003 box camera can also be powered with 230V AC and communicate via RS-485.

The SCB-3003 box camera accommodates C and CS type manual or auto iris video/DC lenses with Samsung’s Simple Focus one-touch focus technology. Minimum illumination of 0.1 Lux @ F1.2 (colour) and 0.01 Lux (B/W).

The SCD-3083 vari-focal dome camera features a 3.6x (2.8 – 10 mm) motorised lens and DC auto iris. It can pan from 0-340° with a tilt range of 0-73°. Minimum illumination is 0.1 Lux @ F1.2 (colour) and 0.02 Lux (B/W).

The SCV-3083 vandal-resistant dome camera is IP-66 rated and includes a 3.6x (2.8 – 10 mm) motorised lens and DC auto iris. Its pan range is from 0-355° with a tilt range of 0-90°. Minimum illumination is 0.3 Lux @ F1.2 (colour), and 0.01 Lux (B/W).

The new introductions join Samsung’s lineup of 700TVL cameras that include the SCD-2082 vari-focal dome camera, SCD-2022 fixed dome camera and SCB-2004 box camera.
