Raytec’s lighting experts will be available at IFSEC to showcase a number of new support tools
IFSEC 2011 will witness lighting solutions from Raytec beneficial for the urban environment

Lighting specialists Raytec take a tailored approach at lighting at IFSEC 2011. With over 500 product lines, all designed and manufactured in house, Raytec provide security professionals with the products to deliver the full lighting solution for any site requirement including; lighting for CCTV, lighting for urban environments such as pathways and car parks and lighting for specialist applications such as number plate capture, hazardous areas, or PoE installations. Raytec will showcase how these products can be designed into a single lighting installation.

Raytec not only provides security professionals with a comprehensive product range, but every illuminator also has the option to be tailored on-site to suit the specific installation requirements.

Tailored demonstration

Raytec will showcase the power and endless possibilities of tailored illumination at IFSEC 2011 with three separate demonstrations.

  • One demonstration will show how a modern, high performance lighting system, of up to 100 illuminators can be controlled remotely, either as single illuminators, batches of illuminators or as an entire system, via a single remote IP platform. The lamps can be altered to respond to changes on scene, operating conditions and operational requirements, improving performance for the end user and reducing installation time for the installer.
  • Raytec will also run a live demonstration showing how professional lighting can be used with any network camera to reduce both bandwidth and storage by up to 90% and significantly improve image quality at night.
  • The new Technology Alliance Partner Programme (TAPP) will also be showcased at IFSEC. The TAPP programme is designed to show how Raytec illuminators can be used alongside specific cameras and other security technologies to achieve best practise in night time performance. TAPP offers installers recommended guidelines and installation tips to maximise the performance of their chosen system.

Tailored support

Raytec's lighting experts will be available at IFSEC to showcase a number of new support tools available to security professionals including a new "Guide to CCTV Lighting", the Raytec Product Selector App, and an interactive cost saving calculator.

An interactive demo will show how Raytec's Lighting Design service can help installers specify the best illumination for their project and help them win business with end users. With Raytec, installers have access to detailed lighting plans, highlighting the best location for illuminators together with, average, peak and minimum light levels throughout the site and a summary of the potential savings in energy, CO2 and money through switching to Raytec illuminators.
