 Raytec, leading LED lighting manufacturer
Raytec has been confirmed as a double-category finalist for the Small Business Award
Leading LED lighting manufacturer Raytec has been short-listed as a double-category finalist in one of the UK's most prestigious business awards.

The North East Business Awards, now in its 10th year, is a hard-fought annual competition which this year attracted more than 374 entries.

Raytec has been confirmed as a finalist for the Small Business Award, recognising the achievements of companies showing imagination, commitment, good financial performance and potential for growth.

Raytec is also in the running for the Export Award, which recognises companies that have achieved significant and sustained increases in international sales over the last 12 months.

"Raytec have done incredibly well to get through to the final," says event organiser Kirsty Tarn. "This year we've had more entries than ever before and it's very competitive."

Founded three years ago, Raytec now employs over 35 people and supplies CCTV Lighting to over 50 countries world-wide.

"In today's highly competitive market customers are looking for lighting solutions that deliver high performance, great reliability and value for money. Our focus on technical innovation allows us to deliver that," explains Shaun Cutler, Raytec's Managing Director.

"With security, energy efficiency and waste-reduction now top priorities for many organisations, Raytec products provide the perfect answer," adds Shaun Cutler.
