With the dark, long, winter nights fast approaching, CCTV systems will come under increasing pressure to perform in low light conditions.  Some systems may not be up to the task and will fail to achieve the effective night-time images required.

With this in mind, Raytec have developed a "CCTV Lighting Pack" which is available to all installers, consultants and end-users.  The pack includes a complete set of CCTV lighting tools to help you achieve effective night-time images, including a CCTV lighting guide, DVD and Cost Saving Calculator.  The pack details best practices and technology tips on both Infra-Red and White-Light CCTV lighting technologies.  The pack is designed to improve system performance and help reduce costs.

"Lighting is a critical factor all year round, but the long winter nights really test systems to the max.  The winter period is the perfect opportunity to evaluate the performance of the CCTV system and to improve lighting conditions when required.  In addition to our support pack, we are offering free lighting surveys on existing or planned installations," says David Lambert of Raytec.
