The new office is dedicated to serving Raytec customers in Australia and New Zealand |
Raytec is pleased to announce that they have opened a new sales office in Melbourne, Australia, following a year of significant growth and success in the region.
The new office is dedicated to serving Raytec customers in Australia and New Zealand and is headed up by Amy Quinn, Raytec Business Development Manager ANZ. Previously a Regional Sales Manager based in Raytec’s UK Headquarters, Amy has spearheaded the growth of Raytec LED lighting in the security market for the Asia/Pacific region over the last 5 years, leading a vast number of high security, industrial and critical infra-structure projects.
Most recently, Amy led a revolutionary LED lighting upgrade which significantly increased productivity for the world’s biggest bauxite mine in Western Australia. New long life, zero maintenance Raytec LED illuminators were able to outperform and withstand the tough conditions at the mine including vibration, dust, heat, heavy rain, and long running times; compared to other illuminators which typically broke down after 2-3 months.
Amy works extremely closely with Raytec customers in the region, providing the help needed to design and specify lighting schemes suited to individual application requirements. The exciting new move allows Raytec to deliver local sales and technical support both on and off site, and educate new and existing customers on Raytec products, to help them maximise their opportunities with LED lighting.
Amy says, “Raytec are committed to providing our customers in Australia and New Zealand with the highest levels of support from lighting design to post-sales support, and our new sales office allows us to do this at a local level. There is a huge demand for Raytec products from this region, not only for CCTV and security but also for several vertical markets such as hazardous area lighting. My intention is to help Raytec partners fully service those opportunities”.
With staff in the UK (headquarters), North America, Germany, China and now Australia, Raytec’s sales force is growing rapidly to meet global demand for local, specialist lighting support 24/7.
