Raytec's RAYMAX series of Infra-Red illuminators have been chosen to provide night-time footage of the Big Brother house in Santiago, Chile.

A Chilean television crew used RAYMAX 50 illuminators to provide continuous footage of the housemates during the hours of darkness.  The footage is screened 24 hours a day on Chilean TV so high quality images are essential to deliver the highest television audiences.

Big Brother has been a hit in over 70 different countries.  Housemates are confined to the Big Brother House and their every action is recorded, both day and night.  The RAYMAX 50 was chosen for its high performance, aesthetic design and Raytec's technical support package.

RAYMAX illuminators have now been deployed in over 20 countries within the last 12 months.  Each RAYMAX illuminator provides high definition Infra-Red lighting to deliver premium quality CCTV images at night.  RAYMAX illuminators are supplied with Adaptive Illumination and backed up by Raytec's industry leading 5 year warranty.

Raytec have recently published "The Complete Guide to CCTV Lighting" as a reference book for installers and specifiers.
