Visitors to the stand saw detailed night-time surveillance produced by Panoramic Ultra, with facial recognition and number plate recognition right up to 150m
The new range of illuminators provide wide angle 180° illumination to generate images at night, at distances up to 150m & beyond

Launched at IFSEC, Raytec’s new range of Panoramic Ultra Infra-Red illuminators went down a storm. The new range of illuminators is designed for all PTZ domes, wide angle and multi-sensor cameras covering a large area. It provides powerful wide angle 180° illumination to allow these cameras to generate outstanding images at night, at distances up to 150m and beyond – all from one illuminator. Panoramic Ultra’s performance is unrivalled and seamlessly achieves 360° surveillance with only two lighting units.

Visitors to Raytec’s stand were amazed to see the exceptionally detailed night-time surveillance produced by Panoramic Ultra, with facial recognition and number plate recognition right up to 150m.

Utilises high power LEDs with Holographic Lensing and HRT

Raytec is always one step ahead at the cutting edge of lighting technology, and their new Panoramic Ultra range of illuminators delivers double the power and 50% more distance than their previous generation of wide angle illuminators – unmatched anywhere in the security industry.

Panoramic Ultra utilises the very latest high power LEDs with Holographic Lensing and Hot-spot Reduction Technology (HRT) to achieve a much better spread of light and longer illumination distances compared to other illuminators.

Its holographic lensing spreads and controls the light for an outstandingly even light output across the full width and depth of the scene with no dark or bright areas. The highly targeted elliptical beam pattern with HRT produces an angle of 180 degrees (horizontal) x 10 degrees (vertical) and focuses the light where it is most needed. This generates longer distances and reduces light spill both upward and in the foreground, eliminating potential hotspots caused by over exposure at close range – perfect for illuminating subjects at different depths of scene.

Not only do Panoramic Ultra illuminators ensure unrivalled system performance, but they offer the outstanding quality assurance and efficiency that Raytec products are renowned for worldwide, including; a long 10 year+ working life, low running costs and zero maintenance.
