Marshall Electronics introduces two new IP cameras that combine high definition video with the low latency needed for real time video monitoring. The VS-577-3GSDI 30x Zoom PTZ Camera and VS-547-3GSDI 30x Zoom Box Camera are designed for security applications in requiring sharp images, powerful zoom, and multiple H.264 streams.
The VS-547-3GSDI and VS-577-3GSDI cameras support low sub frame latency from the 3GSDI output in various resolutions up to 1080p/59.94. Marshall’s new low latency cameras offer the ability to zoom in on subjects and track them in real time. The crystal clear video obtained by these cameras helps security personnel accurately identify subjects and monitor their actions. This new low latency technology is critical in real time monitoring applications, like government buildings, casinos, retail stores, banks, and other high security businesses.
Nigel Hamley, Technical Support and Presales Manager at Marshall Electronics, says, “The use of 1080p/59.94 in security and surveillance is a significant technological jump because now we can not only identify that a breach took place, but exactly who and what they were doing. The picture clarity is so much better. Many of our cameras now feature WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), a technique that allow for a greater range of scene illumination from white to black. Details in the shadows are better represented and bright parts of the scene don’t burn out.”
The VS-547-3GSDI and VS-577-3GSDI cameras also support Marshall’s latest generation of codec, supporting one primary and three secondary streams, all in full HD together with stereo audio. Unicast, multicast, push and pull streaming are supported and controlled from a common, easy-to-use browser interface.
The two cameras will be exhibited at ISC West booth #2102. They will demonstrate live video as well as video decoded by Marshall’s VS-104-3GSDI Full HD Encoder/Decoder with Embedded Audio.
