OD Security BV selects Todd Research as Sales Representatives for Soter RS X-Ray System in UK & Ireland

OD Security BV of the Netherlands announced at the recent IFSEC Show in the UK, that it has extended its sales channel in UK and Ireland with the appointment of Todd Research as Sales Representatives for Soter RS X-Ray System.

Jan Steven Van Wingerden, CEO of OD security said of the recent appointment: "The market in the UK looks especially promising and with our complimentary products and technologies, Todd Research is well positioned to help us penetrate this important market more effectively and provide our customers with a first rate sales support service."

Richard Pearce, Managing Director of Todd Research added: "We are delighted to be associated with OD Security and to be promoting their industry leading product, the Soter RS. We felt that the similar approaches of the two companies; a focus on industry leading products and a desire to partner with customers for the long term, would ensure a positive and successful relationship. Our strong brand in the UK will assist us as we market the obvious advantages of the Soter RS."

The Soter RS is a person X-Ray system that combines ultra low radiation with maximum visibility, increasing the level of security operations previously possible through the use of conventional metal detectors.

The Soter RS can detect everything hidden in or outside the human body within just 10 seconds, even non-metallic objects hidden under clothes, in natural cavities or within the human body.

Previously these non-detectable items such as narcotics, explosives, precious stones, plastic weapons, or other contraband, could only be detected by highly intrusive total body searches.
