Wavestore’s sister company, Rugged DVR Ltd,  has introduced a range of compact DVRs which are designed to work in harsh environments such as buses, trains and military vehicles.  Incorporating a network encoder and supported by Wavestore’s video management software (VMS), the new DVRs with their small footprint and low power consumption requirements, offer an ideal mobile recording solution for use in even the most challenging of environments.

They provide the ability to record D1 resolution   images from four IP cameras or up to twelve analogue cameras, utilising a range of storage solutions. Two or more of the DVRs can work together in a server group and be controlled by a host computer.
