VIVOTEK's SUPREME series fully fleshes out the most extensive network camera line in the industry. With high end features and enhanced resolution as well as increased reliability and ease of installation, users will be sure to find a camera suitable for their applications, whether the requirements are low lux, extreme weather, or other challenging conditions.
SUPREME series cameras are characterised by their extreme video clarity, which ensures accurate color reproduction and fulfills requirements for the most critical application environments. High definition 2-, 3-, and 5-Megapxiel resolution ensure exceptional details and razor-sharp images. Exceptional 60 fps @ 720p HD as well as 30fps @ 1080p Full HD ensure smooth, crystal-clear video when monitoring fast-moving scenes or action at high speed.
The following are key advanced features offered on SUPREME series models: Utilising the latest in sensor and color reproduction technology, Supreme Night Visibility makes for clear, vivid nighttime video with outstanding image quality. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology ensures identifiable images in challenging lighting conditions and generates image quality comparable to the capabilities of the human eye. In addition, the adoption of the newest P-iris lens technology offers optimal video in all lighting conditions with better contrast, clarity, and depth of field.
The new Smart Focus System consists of a Focus Assist button and Remote Focus. To make installation and adjustment easier, VIVOTEK cameras with the Smart Focus feature adopts lenses with a built-in stepper motor that the installer can use to remotely control the focal length and focus, ensuring hassle-free installation and maintenance. As for outdoor series cameras, the implementation of Extreme Weatherproofing, including Wide Temperature Range and IP66/67 Outdoor Rating, makes the SUPREME series models with this feature extremely durable and reliable in harsh conditions.
Currently available SUPREME series cameras include IP8151/51P, IP8162/62P, and IP8362. Additional SUPREME series cameras including fixed domes, speed domes, and fisheye domes will be released throughout 2011.
VIVOTEK FE8171V is the first fisheye fixed dome network camera from VIVOTEK, featuring detailed 3-Megapixel resolution with superb image quality. Equipped with a fisheye lens for 180° panoramic view (wall mount) or 360° surround view (ceiling/floor/table mount) without blind spots, this camera is able to provide an 8X wider field of view than a standard VGA camera, significantly reducing the need for multiple camera installations. It is extremely suitable for monitoring open areas such as airports, shopping malls, parking lots, retail stores, offices, and much more.
The FE8171V offers more than seven display layouts, including original surround view, panoramic views, and regional views for various mounting applications. With the latest cutting-edge image processing, hemispherical images captured from the fisheye camera can be converted into conventional rectilinear projection for viewing and analysis. In addition, in the panoramic and regional viewing modes, users can utilise the ultra-smooth ePTZ function to easily zoom in and focus on a region of interest (ROI).
As with all VIVOTEK true day/night cameras, the FE8171V features a removable IR-cut filter, maintaining clear images 24 hours a day. Its IP67-rated housing is designed to help the camera body withstand rain and dust and ensures operation under a multitude of harsh weather conditions. Additionally, the vandal-proof IK10-rated housing effectively provides robust protection from vandalism. Together with 802.3af compliant PoE, microSD/SDHC card slot for on-board storage, EN50155 mobile surveillance, and iPad applications, the FE8171V is indisputably the top choice for constructing a robust surveillance system with the greatest coverage possible.
