VIVOTEK joins PSIA to further fulfil its commitment to the interoperability and standardisation of IP surveillance devices
VIVOTEK is proud to announce that the company has joined the PSIA (Physical Security Interoperability Alliance) organisation in an attempt to further fulfil its commitment to the interoperability and standardisation of IP surveillance devices.

The PSIA is a global consortium focused on promoting interoperability of IP-enabled security devices across all segments of the security industry. Aimed at developing standards relevant to networked physical security technology, PSIA promotes and develops open standards relevant to networked physical security technology , including video, access control, analytics, and software. Being a long-time supporter of open standards, VIVOTEK has devoted itself to developing products with multi-vendor compatibility. Now, with the addition of PSIA membership, VIVOTEK has strengthened its alliances in being able to contribute to as well as access specifications relevant to IP security at an early stage of their development.

"Standardisation is becoming a trend in the IP surveillance industry because of the convenience and benefits that it offers. We will be able to develop products that address different market segments much more rapidly as the effort required for integration is significantly reduced," said Owen Chen, Chairman of VIVOTEK.
