VIVOTEK announced recently the launch of the state-of-the-art 1080p Full HD speed dome network camera SD8363E. With several advanced features as exceptional frame rate, extreme weatherproofing, IP66- and NEMA 4X-rated housing, and WDR Pro technology, SD8363E is uniquely designed with 360°continuous pan and 220° extended tilt range, which effectively eliminates dead angles while zooming in and provides extra coverage with improved viewing angles. Representing the next generation in network speed dome cameras, SD8363E is especially ideal for monitoring wide open indoor and outdoor spaces as airports, ports, stadiums, highways and parking lots, where high-level reliability and precision under challenging surveillance conditions are always required.
Featuring WDR Pro and a removable IR-cut filter, SD8363E is capable of coping with challenging lighting conditions and generating image quality close to the capabilities of the human eyes around the clock. With real-time H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG compression technology, extra smooth video quality with resolution up to 30 fps at 1080p is secured while conserving valuable network bandwidth.
To ensure reliable and stable operation under harsh environmental conditions, the IP66 rating and extreme weatherproofing protect the camera against rain and dust within a wide temperature range of between -40°C to 55°C. Together with the NEMA 4X-rated housing, corrosion and ice formation on the enclosure can be avoided. The new electronic dehumidifier component can also be utilised to precisely control the humidity inside the closure in accordance with the ambient environment.
Steve Ma, VIVOTEK’s Executive VP, stated, “We are pleased to announce the official launch of our next generation speed dome SD8363E.
