Network camera specialists Vivotek and video recording solutions provider Wavestore have agreed on a technology partnership

Their technology partnership will benefit by providing IP based surveillance systems

"The combined efforts of the Wavestore and VIVOTEK technical teams to achieve a high level of integration between our video recording solutions and the VIVOTEK range of network cameras, will be of great benefit to the fast growing list of consultants, installers and system integrators who wish to recommend IP based surveillance solutions to their clients," said Chris Williams, Wavestore's Director of Marketing and Business Development. "Wavestore recording solutions are increasingly being specified for high-end applications and although compatibility with all VIVOTEK network cameras is important, the recent introduction of the Supreme camera series, which offers Full HD or 1.3, 3, or 5-Megapixel resolution options, will be of particular interest to our client base."

Taiwan based VIVOTEK Inc was established in 2000 and is now one of the world's fastest growing manufacturers of network cameras. The company takes great pride in being able to respond to market demand and has invested heavily in R&D which has resulted in the development of innovative video codecs, multimedia SoC chipset technology and networking protocols.

"VIVOTEK provides complete range network cameras from entry to high-end Full HD in all form factors," said William Ku, Director of Brand Business Division. "We are glad to work with Wavestore in the UK market and we do see the great business potential with the combination of VIVOTEK networks and Wavestore data storage solutions."
