NetView is an IP-based video management software system that provides a "virtual" matrix, event handling and video decoding capabilities.  It is a state-of-the-art replacement for legacy analogue matrices and as a software-based application it can provide multiple monitor capability via any PC on a network with a traditional CCTV keyboard joystick.

NetView ensures that authorized personnel can track, view, map and identify potential threats immediately over multiple monitors with information generated from an unlimited number of cameras.  Security system operators at any location on the network can select and instantly view live video or retrieve recorded images.  Audible and visual alarms, screen messages or email messages advise automatically when an incident occurs.

Mark Novak, Vigilant's Commercial Director, said: "The new advanced features that have been built into NetView such as the site mapping capabilities that allow operators to instantly see from where alarms have been generated, will greatly assist security personnel in making fast decisions and as a result will reduce the scope for human error."
