Videx Security's new VX126 two door Interlock Controller is a boxed PCB designed for high security applications including air locks. The system ensures that both doors cannot be operated at the same time. In addition, by linking multiple units together with additional PCBs it is possible to create an even larger system with more than two entrances -whilst only allowing a single entry point to be open at any one time.

The doors are operated by a push button or can be triggered by Videx or third party access control systems including an intercom system. Door contacts are required to monitor the door status accurately and two dry contact relays allow connectivity of either fail safe or fail secure locks.

Features of the VX126 PCB include selectable relay times of 2.5, 5, 7.5 or 10 seconds as well as follow door sensors which allow relays to de-activate as soon as the door is closed, adding extra security. A sequential door opening feature lets the opposite door in use open automatically once the current door has closed.

The compact VX126 comes in a white ABS housing and it has easily accessible terminal blocks and is powered from 12Vdc power supply.
