DVTEL, INC., the video surveillance solutions provider, has been honoured with a prestigious 2013 New Product of the Year Award from Security Products magazine for its Latitude Network Video Management System (NVMS). It provides the ‘latitude’ for users to customise their VMS experience specific to their location, vertical market or security challenges.

“We are pleased with the recognition that our Video Management Software has received as a 2013 New Product of the Year,” said Yoav Stern, President and CEO, DVTEL Inc. “The success of our enterprise-class, open platform VMS has propelled us to introduce an exciting new product suite, the DVTEL mid-market VMS family. These technologies, purpose built for the SMB market, is an intuitive sibling of our Latitude VMS that delivers the utmost ease in installation, scalability and management. With each new addition to the VMS portfolio, DVTEL raises the technology stakes, and increases ROI for end users as well as profitability and predictability for our VAR channel.”

The magazine is distributed to more than 65,000 subscribers monthly, and its Web site is visited by thousands of security professionals every week.

“The security industry is easily one of the fastest growing technology markets, and from my perspective the tools and solutions available to integrators and end users are more amazing every year,” said Ralph C. Jensen, Editor-in-Chief, Security Products. “It is difficult for our judges to pick a winner when many of the products are so outstanding. In the final analysis, the products entered this year are truly worthy of a second and third look.”
