MOBOTIX Group achieved 15.1 percent growth in revenue year on year with an EBIT margin of nearly 21 percent
Krista Aldama will focus on developing new business for MOBOTIX Corp.

MOBOTIX Corp., an industry leading provider of high-resolution, network-based security solutions, recently announced the appointment of Krista Aldama as the company’s new Business Development Manager, serving the Southeastern United States.

The expansion of the company’s North American sales force is in response to growing demand for its megapixel video surveillance technologies, which are based on the decentralised concept, throughout the dynamic and growing Americas market. Since 2009, MOBOTIX has increased its North American sales team — led by surveillance industry expert Steve Gorski — by more than 50 percent.

In the third quarter of current fiscal year 2012/13, the MOBOTIX Group achieved 15.1 percent growth in revenue year on year with an EBIT margin of nearly 21 percent. The revenue growth speaks to the strength of the technology innovations MOBOTIX has released in 2013, which includes the new 5-megapixel M15 and the MxActivitySensor, which reduces false alarms by up to 90 percent in motion detection.

As the Southeast BDM, Aldama will focus on developing new business for MOBOTIX Corp. as well as adding valuable support in servicing the company’s expanding customer base. She has extensive experience in generating significant sales wins and developing new customer relationships. She most recently served as Territory Sales Manager for Security Reps, where she represented several video surveillance product lines throughout the Southeastern U.S. During her three years with the firm, she increased territory sales revenue by 45 percent. In addition to her experience in the security industry, her varied background also includes working with language interpretation services, data centre integration and enterprise system management.

“We are excited to continue expanding our reach as the market embraces video surveillance technology that delivers the highest image quality and processing power under our cost-effective and best-in-class technology platforms,” said Steve Gorski, General Manager, MOBOTIX Corp. “The addition of Krista Aldama, focusing on the Southeast territory, will continue our efforts to establish a solid footprint in North America and further drive MOBOTIX solutions as the ideal choice for IP video security systems.”

The MOBOTIX team invites current and prospective customers and partners to visit the company at the upcoming ASIS Annual Seminar & Exhibits in Chicago, Sept. 24-27, 2013. The team will provide demonstrations of its new surveillance technologies at booth no. 2275.
