HES KS100-6401H is also available as a pre-configured lock and hub kit for non-certified Aperio customers
The HES KS100 uses a company’s existing credentials and ID badges to extend access control

At ASIS 2013, HES, an ASSA ABLOY Group company will introduce its KS100 Server Cabinet Lock, a wireless access control lock that is specifically designed to provide improved security in server rooms. The KS100 leverages the company’s Aperio® technology, which enables mechanical locks to be wirelessly linked to a new or existing electronic access control system. The HES KS100 will be on exhibit at ASIS 2013 at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL, Booth 127 (September 24 – 27, 2013).

The HES KS100 uses a company’s existing credentials and ID badges to extend access control from the server room entrance door to individual server cabinets. This greatly improves the security level of each server cabinet and adds monitoring and audit trail capabilities to every cabinet. The KS100 uses wireless communication to link to a local Aperio hub, which then connects to a facility’s access control system. Because the KS100 uses existing credentials and ID badges, there are no keys or codes required or to account for.

The slim-design KS100 fits perfectly onto a server cabinet door. It is designed for standard 25mm x 100mm server lock openings and can be used on left hand or right hand doors. The KS100 provides high-security Grade 1 protection with audit control and operates using PoE (Power over Ethernet) or standard 24-volt DC power. It supports HID® 125kHz proximity or 13.56MHz iCLASS® contactless credentials. Its SFIC key override allows secure manual unlock capability.

The KS100-6401H is also available as a pre-configured lock and hub kit for non-certified Aperio customers. Please visit www.hesinnovations.com for more information. The HES KS100 Server Cabinet Lock will be available in Fall 2013.
