Videcon reflects on another successful IFSEC, which saw the official launch of its new HD-SDI range
The Videcon HD-SDI range can capture footage at 1080p resolution and also be switched down to 720p

CCTV Distributor Videcon is reflecting on another very successful IFSEC, which saw the official launch of their new HD-SDI range, as well as demonstrations of their already popular analogue range.

Sales Director Andy Croston comments: "IFSEC has been a great success for us for the second year running now, and we're already seeing orders come in from new customers we met at the show.

Our HD-SDI range has undoubtedly been the star of the show for us. There was a lot of HD-SDI equipment at IFSEC this year, but not all ranges had an integrated range offering 4, 8 and 16 channel DVRs, as well as a hybrid option, all capable of capturing 1080p footage.

The range has been developed to give installers products that cover every option they need when installing HD-SDI. The feedback we got on the stand was that our customers want quality products and we've really hit the mark.

HD-SDI is a massive opportunity for installers. We really wanted to be part of this quickly but we didn't want to rush an under-developed product set to market. We've worked hard with our suppliers to produce a well thought-out integrated range that can fit any application right from launch."

All of the Videcon HD-SDI range can capture footage at 1080p resolution and also be switched down to 720p for better use of storage capacity. As well as the DVRs, the range includes dome, IR bullet and high speed dome cameras as well as a wide range of accessories.
