CCTV Distributor Videcon - exclusive distributor of the Concept Pro range - has announced that its flagship DVR is now integrated with Remote Monitoring Stations using the Sentinel Plus monitoring platform from Monitor Computer Systems Ltd.

Videcon brought the first Concept Pro Remote Monitoring DVR to the market in 2007,  followed by the VXH264 in 2011. Since launch it has won many installers over for its ease of installation and use, and it is now  compatible with the ‘Sentinel Plus’ software.

The integration opens up many opportunities for installers looking to grow their businesses. Growth in Remote CCTV Monitoring remains strong, and the VXH264 has built an enviable reputation for being very easy for installers to connect with monitoring stations.

Marketing Manager Rob Watson comments, "This is great news for many installers, because the decision to integrate with Sentinel was based on regular requests from our customers. We have a long list of installers who've asked to be notified as soon as the integration is complete.

We've seen continued growth in sales of this DVR since we launched it. Some installers were wary about installing Remote Monitoring systems because they perceived them as being complicated, but they've found that our DVR and the Technical Support behind it, have made it very straightforward.

More installers can now benefit from using it, so we'd urge anyone who's involved in Remote Monitoring to get a demonstration of the VXH264 and judge for themselves how it could benefit their business".

Monitoring Stations wishing to integrate with the VXH264 will need to be running version 3.55.1 of the Sentinel Plus Suite, or later. The DVR comes in 4, 8 and 16 channel options.
