Vicon, one of the world's largest independent CCTV manufacturers, will be launching at IFSEC 2007 the latest version of their powerful digital IP-based video management software platform, ViconNet version 4.

Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to see a live demonstration of ViconNet4's advanced features including a Virtual Matrix capability.

ViconNet4 along with its Virtual Matrix Controller changes the way video can be controlled on an IP video or DVR system.  Combined with the KRX-3 Video Decoder the ViconNet system is transformed to simulate crosspoint matrix functionality.

"The new version of ViconNet makes it much easier for users to control their entire security system, which may be spread over a number of sites, from any PC on a network," said Chris Wall, Managing Director of Vicon.  "The Virtual Matrix capability allows users to route any live network video stream to any analogue monitor in the control centre and to instantly playback video when required.  ViconNet4 also enables users to create logical camera groups which further extends the user friendliness and effectiveness of the system."

In addition to ViconNet4, Vicon will have on show their wide range of camera solutions, DVRs and network video servers.
