Nextiva delivers actionable intelligence to Government, Transportation, Corporate, Financial Services and Retail Markets
Verint Systems Inc., a leading provider of analytic software-based solutions for security and business intelligence today announced the European introduction of a number of new products in its Nextiva portfolio of next-generation video management technology at the IIPSEC trade show in the UK in January.
The expanded Nextiva portfolio includes:
• Nextiva Video Analytics, a powerful suite of integrated video analysis applications that trigger alarms in real time and helps prevent incidents, loss and damages.
• Nextiva analytics-embedded edge devices, video servers and IP cameras, which apply video analytics at the point of capture instead of sending all the data to centralised servers.
Verint's Nextiva Analytics portfolio provides a broad array of integrated analytics applications for retail, critical infrastructure, transit and enterprise campus markets. This powerful suite of analytics, including such applications as perimeter intrusion detection, object removal, camera tampering analysis and loitering detection, helps organisations make sense of vast amounts of security video and data, generating actionable intelligence for better decisions and more effective action.
Nextiva Analytics help pinpoint potential breaches and significant events and send video alerts to the appropriate people and agencies. Nextiva Analytics is designed to enhance situational awareness and transform threat detection from a manual, resource-intensive operation to an efficient, accurate, and automated process. With Nextiva Analytics, security staff can focus on deterring and managing threats, rather than watching banks of video monitors trying to detect them. Integration with the Nextiva Enterprise video management platform provides simplified administration and powerful notification and response capabilities.
Nextiva analytics-embedded edge devices analyse video at the point of capture, delivering timely intelligence with lower data transport and storage requirements, making analytics more practical and cost effective for virtually every camera in the enterprise. Included within the portfolio of analytics-embedded IP edge devices is the Nextiva S1900e-T-AS Ethernet video server. Designed to deliver DVD-quality video for single-camera applications, the S1900e also features dual video streams, optimised for DVD-quality viewing and storage efficiency. Built on accepted industry standards, the Nextiva S1900e-AS provides easy interoperability with both IT and enterprise systems.
Also included in the portfolio is the Nextiva S1704e-T-AS, a high-performance, DVD-quality Ethernet video server designed for video monitoring and surveillance over IP networks. The S1704e features 4 video inputs and can deliver up to 4CIF, 25 frames per second (FPS) for multi-camera applications requiring optimal image quality. With MPEG-4 SP video compression, dual streaming and dynamic bandwidth allocation, the Nextiva S1704e helps optimise use of valuable network resources.
The third of the new Nextiva-analytics embedded products to be introduced at IIPSEC is the Nextiva S2600e, a professional IP camera with a super wide 102dB dynamic range for excellent quality in high-contrast environments and 0.5 lux sensitivity for clearer images in low lighting conditions. Designed for colour or day/night use, the Nextiva S2600e Series delivers dual stream, MPEG-4 SP video with 4CIF, 25 Frames Per Second (FPS) and supports both interlaced and progressive scan video, rendering true undistorted 4CIF resolution on analogue and digital video monitors.
The Nextiva Intelligent Edge devices are integrated with Nextiva Control Center, an easy-to-use management portal that simplifies deployment and enables these devices to be configured and administered from a single location and application. Nextiva Health Check continuously monitors the performance of the edge devices, with automated diagnostics and problem correction for greater uptime and lower service costs.
The Nextiva S1900e, S1704e and S2600e are also compatible with Verint® nDVR or Verint Loronix Video Manager solutions.
