Verint Systems Inc. announced that its Nextiva IP Video portfolio is continuing to earn wide industry recognition for innovation and value.

Frost & Sullivan "Customer Value Enhancement Award"

In August, Frost & Sullivan presented Verint with a 2011 Customer Value Enhancement Award, citing Verint's ongoing commitment to deliver innovative solutions for optimising its customers' security investments. According to Frost & Sullivan industry analyst Dilip Sarangan, "The company continues to deliver new functionality that allows companies to not only secure people and property, but to use security video to develop strategies for generating revenue, increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty, optimising the workforce, and operating more effectively. The Frost & Sullivan award specifically recognised Verint's video analytics solutions-including Nextiva Retail Traffic Analytics, Nextiva Queue Management and Nextiva People Counting for helping organisations align their operations with their customers' wants and needs."

Golden Bridge Award for "Innovations in Information Technology"

Also in August, Verint received a 2011 Golden Bridge Award for "Innovations in Information Technology" in the integrated security software category. The award was presented to Verint for Nextiva PSIM, a physical security information management platform that helps command, control and communications centres increase situational awareness, accelerate response, implement consistent, policy-driven security procedures, and improve operational efficiency. More than 40 judges from around the world participated in selecting winners of this year's Golden Bridge Awards, which are presented annually to companies in a wide range of industries for excellence in various disciplines.

HC360 "Top 10 Foreign Security Brand in China"

In June 2011, Verint was named a "Top 10 Foreign Security Brand in China" by HC360 Security Networks, a B2B ecommerce service provider specialising in physical security solutions for China-based operations. HC360 Security Networks accorded Verint this designation in recognition of the company's brand strength and technology excellence in China's highly competitive physical security market.

Security Products Magazine "Govies Government Security" Award

In April 2011, Security Products Magazine presented Verint with its "Govies Government Security" platinum award in the video management systems category. Designed to recognise security vendors with outstanding solutions for government organisations, the award cited the breadth, effectiveness and functionality of Nextiva PSIM. Specifically designed for government and geographically dispersed operations, Nextiva PSIM leverages information from disparate sensors and systems ranging from access control, intrusion, CCTV, radar, border control, and HVAC systems to GIS, various communication systems, and multiple public and private organisational databases. This tool helps address organisational compliance, enhance operations and optimise security investments.
