At Verint’s booth #133 it will demonstrate the capabilities of Nextiva PSIM and the powerful audio and video solution
Verint will demonstrate how its Nextiva VMS and Audiolog solutions help officials investigate incidents

Verint Systems Inc. announced that it will highlight its Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) and other advanced public safety solutions at this year’s Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) Annual Conference & Exposition. Taking place in Anaheim, Calif. August 18-21, APCO is among the world’s largest organisations of public safety communications professionals, drawing officials from public safety answering points (PSAPs), 9-1-1 centers, municipal law enforcement and emergency responders for a variety of education, exhibits and networking opportunities.

Today’s law enforcement and public safety organisations receive large amounts of intelligence from an array of sources, and therefore require advanced solutions to help them capture and analyse data in order to respond in an appropriate and timely manner.

Supporting these efforts, Verint’s Nextiva Physical Security Information Management solution integrates video with a variety of security, safety and building management systems – including access control, video analytics, and command and dispatch centers – to help drive an effective, more proactive approach to security and emergency management, while promoting Actionable Intelligence by routing the right information to the right responders at the right time. With the Verint PSIM solution, public safety officials can enhance emergency preparedness and improve situation awareness, while helping ensure accurate response in emergency, natural disaster and other security situations.

"At Verint, our focus is on helping equip organisations with advanced security management tools, such as our PSIM and other integrated audio/video system solutions"

Verint will demonstrate how its Nextiva Video Management Software and Audiolog Insight Center solutions help officials investigate incidents leveraging information from voice, video and other security systems. The offering serves as a forensic tool that can provide public safety organisations and critical infrastructure entities with a comprehensive view of captured data for expediting investigations, debriefings and training. Its integrated interface and advanced analytics enable audio and video to be correlated to capitalise on robust functionality that eliminates inconsistencies in the data and organisation of manual investigations by unifying two critical technologies which are typically unstructured and underutilised in the evidence process.

“Public safety officials are inundated with more information than ever before,” says Steve Weller, senior vice president and general manager, Verint Video and Situation Intelligence Solutions. “Solutions that can help them sift through the ‘noise’ to quickly and accurately respond to security and emergency events have become vital in today’s security and emergency preparedness and response environments. At Verint, our focus is on helping equip organisations with advanced security management tools, such as our PSIM and other integrated audio/video system solutions, for a proactive approach to addressing emergency, security and related situations and events.”
