Award confirms DSC as a leading educator of false alarm prevention strategies

DSC, a leading provider of intrusion security products worldwide, was recently recognized by SDM Magazine for its false alarm prevention program.  The Securing America award was presented to DSC at this year's International Security Conference Expo West (ISC West) in Las Vegas, NV.

"Clearly, false alarms and subsequent dispatches are a major industry concern," said Bruce Nagy, DSC Manager, Marketing & Communications Services.  "That's why DSC works diligently to reduce false alarms through education and training and manufactures its security products with the latest SIA (Security Industry Association) false alarm reduction features.  Winning this award validates the efforts DSC has made in combating false alarms and confirms our position as a leading educator within the industry."

The educational elements that comprise the comprehensive two-hour DSC False Alarm Prevention Program include a video, brochure and PowerPoint presentation.
