 TeleEye Group, a leading supplier in advanced video surveillance system received the 2010 Award of Excellence in Intellectual Capital Management

TeleEye Group, one of the leading suppliers in advanced video surveillance system, is pleased to receive the 2010 Award of Excellence in Intellectual Capital Management from the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Intellectual Property Department. The award aims to recognise TeleEye's commitment in the Intellectual Capital Management Consultancy Programme.

Intellectual Capital Management is a set of tool to assist the enterprise to identify the intangible assets, access the values to the stakeholders and reduce the risks of intellectual capital infringement. The Intellectual Property Department has launched the Intellectual Capital Management Consultancy Programme since March 2009. It aims at assisting the enterprise to identify new business potential for continuous development. In the second phase of the programme, 25 organisations had been selected and awarded to recognise their commitment in the programme. TeleEye is one of the 25 organisations receiving this award.

The Honourable Gregory So, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, officiated at the presentation ceremony held on 21 January 2011. Prof. Cliff Chan received the award on behalf of the group.

In the first intellectual capital report of TeleEye, it had documented TeleEye's activities and results in knowledge development. Prof. Cliff Chan, Chief Executive Officer of TeleEye Group, said, "TeleEye is a pioneer in developing innovative video surveillance products. Innovation, knowledge and strong brand are the fundamentals to TeleEye's success in the global market. Intellectual Capital Management has helped us to analyse the knowledge areas that we should focus on to create competitive advantages that are shared by everyone to create an efficient organisation.
