TeleEye would like to present their award winning mobile DVR, specifically designed for the safety of public and transit vehicles applications. The RX538, equipped with TeleEye’s cutting edge technology and a robust design was recognised and awarded the “Best Crime Preventive Product Award” on June 10th 2015 by the Hong Kong Security Association. This 960H DVR is able to withstand harsh conditions such as temperature fluctuations from -25°C - 50°C and power interruptions. As it is difficult to predict the conditions of the roads, the RX538 is engineered with good stability and is not affected by vibrations. Therefore no matter what the conditions are outside or within the vehicle, the RX538 will continue to record smoothly.

Efficient streaming for instant response

TeleEye RX538 operates on a 3G/4G mobile network. Where low latency and unreachable fixed networks are a concern, this DVR, incorporated with SMAC-M technology ensures that operators in the control room can stream the video footage smoothly without any buffering and disruptions. It is indispensible to provide maximum security, especially for cash-in-transit vehicles by safeguarding against the risks of vehicles heists. As SMAC-M allows real time monitoring and recording without any delays during the transmission of data, security personnel are able to respond instantaneously. Therefore TeleEye successfully addresses the vital safety aspects for the crew and the need for the protection of the valuables in transit.

Hacker resistance and data security

The events occurring within the vehicles are monitored and recorded as soon as they leave the depot. As an additional, yet crucial element for supplying the highest level of security, the experts at TeleEye have created the TeleEye Hacker Resistant technology. This unique technology has five layers of protection specifically aimed to help safeguard video data when it is being delivered via a public network, as this system is able to separate the video network from an IP network transmission. Hence prevents unauthorised personnel obtaining the video data and viewing the events within the vehicle in order to prevent criminal activities.

Physical / GPS checking on vehicle's data

The TeleEye RX538 has a GPS tracking function 3G router that allows the operators to easily track and pinpoint the location of the vehicles as they move. With the transportation of high value goods, it is important to guarantee that they arrive safely to the specified destination, and if the vans deviate from designated course then the operators will be alerted. The GPS tracking function is vital for vehicle security, as it will assist in stolen vehicle recovery procedures. Overall activities such as route planning, estimation of departure and arrival times can discourage speeding and contribute to better driving practices, improve efficiency and cut fuel costs.

Data retention for future investigation

By saving the data onto a separate storage device and releasing the storage capacity, older records can be retained for longer. This means that the video footages can be retrieved later and used to trace evidence for assisting investigations. The TeleEye RX538 mobile DVR, complemented with the advanced TeleEye technology and software, is able to deliver a complete end- to- end security solution ranging from preventative actions, to surveillance operations, assisting in follow up precautions and investigations.

Longer recording

The DVR is designed to continuously record the happenings within a vehicle over a long period of time. The RX538 is equipped with 2 HDDs, with the large amount of storage capacity; this allows more data to be recorded. The recorded data via the RX538 can also be reviewed and extracted to the central storage server after the vehicle returns to the depot.

BS8418 Professional CCTV Compliance

TeleEye supplies indispensible and complete end-to-end surveillance solutions that adhere to the BS8418, British CCTV Standards. In case of heists or other threats, the drivers can push a button to send an alarm and seamless video from the RX538 to the central monitoring station. In case of network failure, TeleEye sureSIGHT video management software can easily switched the monitoring from one place to another.
