Tavcom is providing foundation and advanced CCTV training programmes for installation and service engineers in Dubai |
Tavcom reports that it has successfully completed specialist CCTV training for 1,000 students attending the International Centre for Security & Safety (ICSS) at the Dubai Police Academy.
The International Centre for Security and Safety plays a significant role in the strengthening of the skills of Dubai nationals, as well as local and contracted personnel of various nationalities working in the region. As such, it provides a range of vocational training programmes for individuals involved in the electronic security industry.
Under the terms of an ongoing agreement with the Academy, the training division of Tavcom is providing foundation and advanced CCTV training programmes for installation and service engineers in Dubai. The objective is to improve existing skill levels in order for licences to be issued by the Department of Protective Systems of the Dubai Police Service to individuals and companies which will permit them to install and maintain electronic security systems in accordance with international codes and good practices.
“To have provided training for 1,000 students over a two year period is a significant achievement for Tavcom. We are grateful to the head of the centre Lt. Col. Nasser Kazim and Mr. Adil Abdel-Hadi, Director of Studies and Coordination Bureau and their colleagues at the International Centre for Security and Safety, for their cooperation and support which has helped us achieve this goal,” said Paul Tennent, Sales Director for Tavcom.
“We are looking forward to providing the same high level of training to the many other students who will be attending the Academy over the coming months and in doing so, help them achieve the professional standards required by the Dubai Police Service.”
